Yuav ua li cas peb spontaneously yuav ib tug bull terrier

The story began with the first dog – my husband and I bought a Jack Russell puppy. Only, contrary to expectations, he turned out to be not a cheerful electric broom, but a real phlegmatic – he didn’t want to play with toys, he stopped being interested in other dogs after 4 months, he could just sit on the ground and sit in the middle of a walk. No attempts to stir him up helped, such a temperament.

Then at the family council it was decided to get a second dog. A pair of each creature, as they say. The decision was based on the premise that the two dogs would entertain each other and the first one would not be as bored. And then I began to choose a breed, for a month I re-read about all the dogs of small and medium size, but nothing came up. Some have health problems, others have difficulties with training, and some are fluffy and will shed all year round. Time passed, and my Jack Russell Rufus got bored more and more.

And then we went for a walk in the park and met two mini bull terriers. To be honest, until the moment I met representatives of this breed, I had prejudices imposed by stereotypes from the 90s about a bloodthirsty monster dog. But the reality turned out to be completely different – calm, imperturbable and very patient, they don’t climb into strangers, they don’t give in to provocations, a real companion dog. The same evening I found an advertisement for the sale of puppies and contacted the breeder, and the next day we went and took our mini-bull Dex.

Since that moment, my life has changed – since childhood I had dogs in the house, but there were no such dogs. The Bull Terrier is the most loyal and loving creature I have ever met. All he needs is to sit in the arms of the owner. Or on your knees. And better on the head. Have you ever had a bull terrier sit on your head? Try it, I highly recommend it.

For bulek, tactile contact is very important, so they can be intrusive and even impudent. They are stubborn and can pretend that they do not understand what the owner wants from them. My acquaintances tested the puppy for deafness at the age of six months, because they thought that he was really deaf, it turned out that he was just pretending that he did not hear his owners. And this is the main problem of training – the bull terrier must be shown that the owner is more stubborn and will not back down.

How did my two males get along? I will not hide, there were moments of conflict. Jack Russells are quite irritable and independent, so Rufus could react sharply when Dex, running past, accidentally knocked him down or could just lie on top. Such familiarity in the dog world is considered indecent, but the Bulki do not know about it. And now Dex is the only dog my Jack Russell plays with. They didn’t sleep in an embrace, but on the street they can run after each other for 20 minutes.

But there is one thing that no one warns about – it is dangerous to take a bull terrier into the house. Because it is difficult to stop at one, I want a few more pieces. Therefore, as soon as the opportunity arises (extra square meters), I will start an even larger white bulka. After all, there is never too much happiness.
